Statement
My artistic motivations, leanings, passions and aspirations are all centred on print. I am a visual artist and printmaker working primarily with the traditional processes of etching and lithography, albeit with a contemporary interpretation. Since my concerns are involved with the passage of time, these age-old techniques are happily appropriate in associating the historical links within the medium to the personal histories in my work. An experimental approach combines materials such as collage, text and textiles in exploring potential innovations. I have ambitions for my work to be shown nationally and internationally.
